    Position: Client Care Assistant

    Days/Hours: Part-time Friday / Saturday / Sunday / Monday *please note, applicants must be available on weekends

    Requirements:

    • Applicants MUST LOVE working in the health care industry, focusing on older adults.
    • Certified RCA, LPN, RN or equivalent experience
    • Applicants must have a valid BC Driver’s License and a car
    • Criminal record check
    • Current First Aid and CPR Training
    • Professional references
    • Applicants must be living and permitted to work in Canada

    Skills:

    • Individual with health care background. Knowledge with medication administration is an asset
    • Critical thinking skills – nursing
    • Strong administrative and computer skills
    • Strong communication skills – able to assess new clients and perform client intakes
    • Sales or marketing background is an asset
    • Ability to work from home on personal computer if needed

    Duties:

    • Sales calls / visits to hospitals, clinics, residential senior homes to gain clients
    • Creating care plans and proposals
    • Responding and taking new care inquiries over the phone and in person
    • Weekend on-call phone coverage
    • Cross over to cover care shift for caregiver unable to meet a shift on weekend or otherwise OR provide care assistance until another staff arrives for the shift.
    • Respond to family requests
    • Emergency care requests

    Care & Company is immediately hiring compassionate and vibrant individuals who love working with older adults.

    We are currently hiring Live-In Caregivers in the Victoria area for 2-3 shifts per week.

    Kindly note, only those that are living and are permitted to work in Canada will be considered at this time.

    Our Caregivers have a reputation for being cheerful and receptive as they administer care to our clients, and we are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team! We have live-in shifts available immediately for Saturday, Sunday and Wednesdays with the possibility of more. Please note these are 24 hour shifts with either paid breaks or the ability to take a 3 hour break.

    Position summary:

    Fit For Life (http://www.fit-4-life.ca/) is currently looking for compassionate, vibrant, qualified and experienced Male Trainer with the ability to tailor make programs to individual medical conditions. The ideal candidate MUST be passionate about senior health and fitness and has strong interpersonal skills.Our Staff have a reputation for being cheerful and receptive as they administer care to our clients, and we are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and develop exercise programs specific to our client’s goals and needs.
    • Demonstrate safe exercises and monitor equipment use.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
    • Maintain a cleanly gym/studio space.
    • Ability to teach classes

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Be organized and effective in time management
    • Possess high level of professionalism

    Qualifications:

    • Experience working with seniors is not necessary but would be considered an asset
    • Personal Training Certification (a minimum of one of NASM, ACE, ACSM, BCRPA, CFES, CSEP, etc.)
    • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
    • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office programs and must know how to navigate Gym Software
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written communications) with clients
    • Physically able to perform the position
